All In The Family? Problems And Solutions When Adult Children Live With Aging Parents

Traditional family dynamics have drastically changed over the last twenty (20) years. This presentation will provide an overview of the unique legal situations that fiduciaries will encounter when aging adults have their adult children living with them. We will also discuss specific examples as well as practical solutions used by other PFAC members when similar situations have arisen in a variety of cases (conservatorship, trust, probates). The presenters have canvassed the community of PFAC members in Southern California to collect real-life case studies and real-life solutions.  These will be implemented into the presentation.
