Elizabeth Carder, B.A. M.P.A., is the Managing Probate Investigator for the Superior Court of California, County of Riverside. Ms. Carder’s experience in Probate Guardianships and Conservatorships began in 2008, when she began working for the Riverside County Office of the Public Guardian. She served as a Deputy Public Guardian for 2 years, and a Supervising Deputy for 6 years. During that time, she was also a member of the California Association of Public Administrators, Public Guardians and Public Conservators (PAPGPC). In 2014, Ms. Carder started with the Riverside Superior Court where she has held the title of Managing Probate Investigator for the past 6 years.

Ms. Carder holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Riverside, in Anthropology and Law and Society, and a Master’s Degree from California Baptist University in Public Administration. She has been a board member of the California Association of Superior Court Investigators (CASCI) since 2019 and has served as Vice President since 2020. Ms. Carder is a member of the Elder Abuse Forensic Team of Riverside County (EAFC) and the team for Curtailing Abuse Related to the Elderly (C.A.R.E.) in Riverside County. She also serves on the planning committee for Riverside County’s annual Elder Abuse Symposium.

Mrs. Villaseñor is a court investigator for Superior Court of Stanislaus County. Prior to joining Stanislaus Superior Court, she was a court investigator for Superior Court of Merced County. She began her court career in 2006 as a court processing clerk and promoted to investigator in 2014. She is a CASCI board member and is on the active roster of the CJER Probate Investigators Education Workgroup. Ms. Villaseñor has experience working with guardianship cases, conservatorship cases, adoptions, special immigration cases, and accountings.
